In AdventureQuest Worlds (AQW), Alchemy is a non-combat tradeskill that allows players to create powerful consumable potions, elixirs, and tonics. These items provide significant stat boosts, healing, or utility effects that are often essential for high-end boss fights and "ultra" challenges.

How it Works

To start Alchemizing, you must travel to /join Alchemy (or talk to Alina in Swordhaven). The process involves a mini-game where you combine two ingredients with a specific "Runestone."

  • Ingredients: These are items dropped by monsters or purchased from the Alchemy shop (e.g., Dragon scale, Ice Vapor, Moglin Leaf).
  • Runestones: These determine the success rate and the potential power of the potion. The Dragon Runestone is the standard gold-purchasable option, while Academic Runestones are used for higher-level crafting.
  • The Mini-game: You must click a moving cursor within a target zone. Landing in the center results in a "Perfect" brew, which yields more or stronger potions.
